Holiday party entertainment continues thru January! What a lot of people don’t realize is the fact that January and early February (while being a vacation skiing month for many and thus a slow month in the entertainment business) is also a time for planning Super Bowl parties and therein, live entertainment or DJs. By “live entertainment”, I’m referring of course to cover bands and in particular, show bands. Band availability is good in January which means there are more quality groups to select from.
If you’ve followed previous posts here and from my articles at ezinearticles.com, you’d know that DLE offers show bands and other high quality entertainment to our corporate, private party and high-end wedding clients year-round. Most of these bands specialize in themed events and Super Bowl parties are no exception. These bands can perform in football jerseys and helmets, if necessary.
The great thing about Super Bowl weekend is there are parties both on the Saturday before and some right after the Game on Super Bowl Sunday. On Saturday, these parties start around 7 p.m. and often go past midnight. On Game Day, parties start in the early afternoon and continue into the evening after the Game has ended. Falling on a Sunday with a work day ahead, these parties often end early, meaning that band performances start around 7 p.m. after the Game ends and usually end by 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. Pacific Time.
I’ve written often about the advantages of a quality live band over a DJ for events and Super Bowl parties are no exception. While more casual dress-wise than black tie events, these parties are opportunities for people to relax and enjoy being entertained by high quality musicians and vocalists–even if their team isn’t in the Super Bowl! Good DJs are fine as far as they go but they can’t hold a candle to a talented, live cover band. You can find that exact band for your Super Bowl party on our Las Vegas Show Bands page. Simply click this link and watch their promo videos below the texts on their individual landing pages.
Right now, 70s and to a lesser extent 80s dance music is “in”. At DLE, we offer groups that perform what are called “Decades Shows” in costumes from these decades, in particular, The M Band and The KS Show Band. They can custom-tailor their performances to any decade of dance music. At David Levin Entertainment, this is true for just about all of our show groups.
After watching the videos of these terrific bands, use the Request a Quote button and ask us about pricing and availability for a DLE show band at your Super Bowl party. What a great way to start the New Year!
